From the farm to Frankfort, I know what it means to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
Kentucky deserves a fresh approach towards creating jobs, protecting those we already have and making health care more affordable without a government takeover. After growing up on a family farm in Scott County, I intend to stand up for the district and offer common sense solutions to the same old problems that have plagued Kentucky for far too long.
As a lifelong Kentuckian I am proud of our Commonwealth, but I know we can do better. We cannot afford to stand still in an ever changing world, and we need leaders who recognize that. I don’t, however, think we should look to Washington or Frankfort for all the answers. Many politicians are content with out of control deficit spending and a government without limits. In these challenging economic times, I believe Kentucky needs new leaders who are not satisfied with the status quo. We deserve meaningful change, and it’s what our founding fathers would expect.
My family farm upbringing not only taught me traditional values, but also kept me grounded in what is important—our families and our communities. I believe in doing things right, regardless of party affiliation, and that’s what I will do as your state representative. It is time for a new perspective and someone with the energy to get the job done, no matter how challenging it might be.
Together, we can work to better Scott and Fayette Counties, and for a better Kentucky. I look forward to hearing from you.
